Hi! My name is Katherine Wallin. I am a graphic designer, illustrator, storyteller, and dreamer. For as long as I can remember, I have been exploring the world around me trying to figure out how things work and whether or not I could do or build those things myself. In elementary school, I would sit on the playground admiring all of the beauty and possibility in my surroundings, constantly doodling in my sketchbook, drawing stories and comics for my friends and family.
As an artist, I have a passion for clean, well thought out design, compelling narrative, and beautiful visuals. I hold two Bachelor of Arts degrees; one in Studio Art and the other in Narrative Film from Azusa Pacific University.
After college, I started working in the creative industry as a graphic designer designing everything from flyers, brochures, and websites to t-shirts, apparel, toys, and much more. I have well-established expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and Premiere, among others. I have also designed websites using many of the popular content management systems (CMS) including WordPress and Drupal. I know and continue to learn programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and PHP. I always strive to generate unique and beautiful designs while creating clear, concise messages. Of course, I would not be where I am today without the love and support of my family and friends who recognized my passion and creative drive and always encourage me to explore and push my art further.
